A year ago, the United States and Britain signed a treaty to ease the US’ regulatory burden on the astrology community, allowing US businesses to set up shop in the UK, the first time such a treaty had been signed by the two countries.
Since then, US President Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to attack astrology in general, but his latest tweet is particularly concerning because it reveals that he has made no effort to correct or even revise his own statements.
The astrology news website Al Jazeera’s sister site, The Astrology News, published a correction on Thursday that included the following statement from Trump: “I have always had the highest regard for astrology.
But I have no problem with anyone using astrology to make predictions, just like I have a problem with the media using it.”
